Privacy Policy — My Memiora

My Memiora ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
1. Information We Collect
Stories and Memories: All text and photos you write in the app are stored locally on your device using your device's private storage. We do not upload, sync, or transmit your personal stories or photos to any server.
Author Name: The name you enter on the Export screen is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted off your device.
Email Address: If you choose to email your memoir PDF to yourself, your email address is used only to send that single email and is not stored or used for any other purpose.
Purchase Information: If you purchase My Memiora, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store). We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. RevenueCat may collect a device identifier to confirm your purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your stories and memories are used solely to display them within the app and to generate your exported memoir PDF. No personal content is transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. Purchase data is used only to determine whether to unlock full features in the app.
3. Data Storage and Security
All of your stories, photos, and personal content are stored exclusively on your own device using encrypted local storage. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed. We strongly recommend regularly backing up your device via iCloud to prevent accidental data loss.
4. Third-Party Services
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect anonymized usage data and device identifiers to verify purchase status. See revenuecat.com/privacy for their privacy policy.
Apple App Store: Payments are processed by Apple. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during payment processing.
Resend: If you email your memoir PDF, the email is sent via Resend. Only your email address and the PDF attachment are transmitted. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy for their privacy policy.
5. Children's Privacy
My Memiora is designed for adults, specifically those who wish to document their life experiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your Rights
Since all your personal data is stored only on your own device, you have complete control over it at all times. You can delete individual stories within the app, delete all stories via Settings → Delete All Stories, or uninstall the app to remove all data permanently.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
