My Memiora ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Stories and Memories:
All text and photos you create in the app are stored locally on your device using your device’s private storage. We do not upload, sync, or store your personal stories or photos on our servers.

PDF Generation (Export Feature):
When you choose to generate a PDF of your memoir, your content (stories, photos, and book details) is securely transmitted to a third-party service (DocRaptor) solely for the purpose of generating the PDF document. This content is not stored by us and is used only during the document creation process.

Author Name:
The name you enter on the Export screen is stored locally on your device and included in your generated PDF. It is only transmitted if you choose to export your memoir.

Email Address:
If you choose to email your memoir PDF, your email address is used only to send that single email and is not stored or used for any other purpose.

Purchase Information:
If you purchase My Memiora, your payment is processed by Apple (App Store). We use RevenueCat to verify your purchase status. RevenueCat may collect a device identifier to confirm your purchase. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your content is used solely to:

  • Display your stories within the app

  • Generate your memoir PDF when requested

  • Deliver your PDF via email (if selected)

We do not use your personal content for analytics, marketing, or any purpose beyond app functionality.

3. Data Storage and Security

All of your stories, photos, and personal content are stored locally on your device.

When generating a PDF:

  • Content is transmitted securely for processing

  • It is not retained by us after the PDF is created

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

We recommend backing up your device via iCloud to prevent accidental data loss.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to support core app functionality:

DocRaptor (PDF Generation):
Used to generate PDF versions of your memoir. Content is transmitted only when you initiate an export and is used solely to create the document.

5. Children’s Privacy

My Memiora is intended for general audiences and is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • All content is stored locally on your device

  • You can delete individual stories at any time

  • You can delete all content via Settings

  • You can uninstall the app to remove all data permanently

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
